This post is a little late as there has been a lot going on (in a good way!). However, I did want to post all of the video and photos from my day recording at WFYI in Indianapolis. My cameraman, Paul, was especially excited to go as he has been an NPR junkie for years.

A few months back, my film team and I went into downtown Indianapolis on Mass Ave and filmed some street magic. This was the first time we had done anything like it together, so we all learned a lot about making magic work for film. Here is one of the videos we made:

Having grown up with the internet, I take it for granted. Others do too, and I think we’ve decided as a people that the internet’s main purpose is sending funny pictures of dogs or cats. But a video I watched today of marketing author Seth Godin opened my eyes. Mr. Godin argues that we’ve forgotten how powerful the internet makes individuals, especially artists and people who care about a cause. I highly recommend watching:
