Last night I went to a great young professionals networking event called Indy Hub. This was the second one that I had gone to and it was absolutely fantastic. They host these events at restaurants in Indianapolis, this one was at the brand new Ralston’s Drafthouse on Mass Ave.
As someone who is a young professional, and a magician running his own business, this proved to be a great event to meet people at. Getting to know who my peers are in the community, and making new friends made it worth the trip. It also helped that Ralston’s has a great craft beer selection, a great atmosphere, and attentive servers.

A few nights ago I performed at a client appreciate event for Joe Cantou & Associates, and it was a very memorable experience. The event and magic show was at Piper’s Catering & Cafe in Indianapolis Joe helps retirees feel secure knowing that their money is being invested safely and wisely. It was incredibly humbling to see so many people show up to thank him for being honest and helpful. I was very happy to see that there are businesses thriving that care about their clients Joe was also very happy with the show I performed, and gave me a nice video review:

I’ve often gotten requests for shows where a client isn’t sure how magic will be received at their holiday party. I understand this position; people do not want to risk their reputation in the workplace. As one of the highest quality Corporate Entertainers and Magicians in Indianapolis, I understand that your reputation is all you have. I am committed to helping my clients maximize the quality of their event, and maximize their budget dollars. Therefore, I’d like to explain a bit more about my entertainment options:
Cocktail style entertainment often serves and important function at a company party. It breaks the ice, and helps the crowd and I to get to know one another. It is important that people feel comfortable with me as later, I may very well ask them to join me on stage.
During an after dinner Magic Show, I often must ask for assistance with a particular trick. One of my highest priorities is to not embarass anyone, or to make them feel uncomfortable. In fact, the exact opposite happens. My helpers are often made out to be the hero of the trick, and walk back to their seats with a strong sense of confidence.
